God DOES have a plan for you and me.
It is called the Kingdom of God.
What is the KINGDOM of GOD? |

Jesus
came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, And
saying,
The
time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent
ye, and believe the gospel. Jesus
went everywhere preaching the GOOD NEWS of the KINGDOM OF GOD.
He taught about it in parables and He sent the apostles to
preach only the KINGDOM OF GOD. Paul taught about the KINGDOM of
GOD. The prophet Daniel, who lived 600 years before
Christ, spoke about the KINGDOM of GOD.
What
EXACTLY is the KINGDOM of GOD? Well
according to the 'red letter' verse above,
we
know for certain that to understand the real meaning of the
KINGDOM of GOD has a lot to do with 'believing the gospel'. However
what gospel? What is the gospel that Jesus Christ preached? Do
you have to believe the gospel to be saved? However, how do you
believe in something, unless you know what it is? Some refer
to it as the 'gospel of grace', some call it the 'gospel of
salvation', and many see the gospel as the 'gospel about Jesus
Christ'. Many in the church today see it as their duty to
bring the world salvation however if this is true then there
is the one question that needs to be asked.................... Why
is Satan winning the battle for the 'souls' of the multitudes
? Yet every Christian knows that Satan was defeated when
Christ died and was raised from the dead? And what about all
the multitudes that existed before Christ? Is this 'Good News'
for the world? So how do we
understand the REAL meaning of the gospel and how does the
'Good News' relate to the Kingdom of God? Before we can
believe the gospel we must understand, what
EXACTLY is the KINGDOM of GOD? It
is simple really, all we have to do is to look closer at what
Jesus said, what the apostles preached, what Paul taught and
also what Daniel believed that the Kingdom of God really is.
Understand what the Kingdom of God is all about and you will
then not only understand the gospel but because it is such a
wonderful plan that comes from the Creator, you will wonder
why it is not taught today. After all, the gospel is the GOOD
NEWS about the Kingdom of God. Of course
you do have a choice, you can simply stay in confusion, choosing to believe what
ever you want about
the Kingdom of God, or you can come on a journey with me as I
share with you about the power of hope of a promised new life
that really is the real mystery of God. We will talk with God
through His written Word and gain a greater understanding of the
Bible and at the same time becoming aware of the spirit of
error that is at work in today's understanding of what the
Kingdom of God is, and as we begin to understand the real
purpose of the Holy Spirit we can then watch and pray for the
return of Christ. All you have to do to join me in this
exciting journey, is to take the time to
listen to the recordings to the right of this page. Just
click on 'Play'. 2
Corinthians 11:4 For
if he who comes preaches another Jesus whom we have not
preached, or if you receive a different spirit
which you have not received, or a different gospel which you
have not accepted—you may well put up with it! Galatians
1:6 I
marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him who called
you in the grace of Christ, to a different gospel, which
is not another; but there are some who trouble you and want to
pervert the gospel of Christ. |

Paul
taught that 'flesh and blood' cannot inherit the Kingdom of
God 1Corinthians
15:50 Now
this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom
of God;
nor does corruption inherit incorruption. Behold,
I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all
be changed—in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the
last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be
raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. |

Jesus
taught that 'that which is born of flesh is flesh, and that
which is born of the Spirit is spirit' Why did Jesus also
teach that you must be 'Born Again' to inherit the Kingdom of
God and yet there are millions of flesh and blood Christians
today who are claiming they are 'Born Again'. Those who will
be 'Born Again' at the coming of Christ will be like the wind,
invisible. Find out the real truth about just what being
'Born Again', 'the Good News of the Gospel' and the 'Kingdom
of God' have in common, listen to the recordings to the right
called "The
Gospel of the Good News of the Kingdom of God". “Most
assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the
Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. That
which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of
the Spirit is spirit. Do
not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born
again.’ The
wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but
cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is
everyone who is born of the Spirit.” |

The War
Against Reason
Have
you heard the story about the elephant and the 4 blind men?
The story goes that the first blind man grabbed hold of the
elephant’s trunk and thought it was a big snake. The next
one found the ears and thought they were fans. Another found a
leg and said it was a tree. Still another took hold of the
tail and thought it was a rope. It is certainly rather odd
that the idea of truth within the Christian church is much
like the story of the elephant and the 4 blind men. After all,
while the church is described in the New Testament as the
“pillar and foundation of the truth”
(1 Timothy 3:15) and while Jesus also spoke of His
people as being sanctified by the truth, (John 17:17) the
church today often sees truth as something acquired more
through spiritual experiences and personal revelations rather
then through a truth arrived at by testing the accuracy of a
knowledge gained through a study of the Scriptures. The
discernment of what Truth is, has suffered a horrible setback
in the church because reason itself has been under attack.
Many Christian leaders have discarded the simple facts of the
Scriptures in favour of personal experience. In other words,
they have replaced one sort of truth with another sort of
truth. They have put aside the truth that comes out of
rational thought and logic and replaced it with a truth that
is perceive by what they are told is truth.
This sort of truth is confirmed within the minds of
Christians through personal spiritual experiences. It is a
subjective truth, a truth that appears to them as more true
then truth itself. This
perceived truth was evident back in the first century church
as one such early Christian, a man called Irenaeous who serves
as an important link to the Apostles, wrote about a truth that
was really error in disguise. Irenaeous was a pupil of
Polycarp who was a companion of the Apostle John. Irenaeous
said:
“Error,
indeed, is never set forth in its naked deformity, lest, being
thus exposed, it should at once be detected. But it is
craftily decked out in an attractive dress, so as, by its
outward form, to make it appear to the inexperienced
(ridiculous as the expression may seem) more true than the
truth itself. (Whom the Lord has enjoined us to be on our
guard), and because their language resembles ours, while their
sentiments are very different.”
The
truth you feel is of its very nature subjective. The
truth you are told relies on your accepting the
authority of the messenger. Truth of these kinds can be argued
for with conviction, but they cannot be claimed to be
objective. As Irenaeous says, the message that appears to be
the truth is in fact error, and this error can
easily be confirmed by the simple facts of Scriptures,
however because the error is seen by Christians as the
‘truth’ confirmed not by the Scriptures but by their own
spiritual experience and because they don’t want to hear the
real objective truth they wash their hands of it just as
Pilate washed his hands and rejected the truth.
And just as the blind men holding on to the elephant
they think that they have hold of the truth. Real Objective
truth eludes them, and to suggest that any objective
examination of the Scriptures to distinguish truth from error
is simply out of step with today’s charismatic Christianity.
Consider the way Luke commended the Bereans for their
noble-mindedness: "For
they received the word [the New Testament gospel from the
apostles] with great eagerness, examining the Scriptures [the
Old Testament books] daily, to see whether these things were
so" (Acts 17:1 1). What
made the Bereans worthy of commendation? Their eagerness to be
discerning. They rightly refused to blindly accept anyone's
teaching (even that of the apostles) without clear warrant
from God's Word. This is the true test of truth.
